It’s been a while since I visited Ms. Candace world and again she amazed me again. I love the way she takes me on a ride that consumes me. What can I say about Daniel, Sadistic, smart and dangerous creature. Intelligent and unapologetic about who he is. I loved how he was growing and adapting through their relationship. Mariah was like the other side of his coin, also smart, intelligent and strong. I really love how strong she is and willing to adapt to better serve her future. It was not an easy ride and not for weak, that’s what makes her special. I think it had to do with both of them being super smart and not worrying about pesky and unimportant banal things. This is darkish story, about two characters who grow together into love and partnership. There was struggling and finding their own power balance. He was her Master, Guardian and Guide which I liked the most. Helping her meet her through potential and meeting consequences when seems fit. The way he was advising her and tutoring her was an art that comes with living so many years and experiencing so many different eras. I absolutely loved…
What do you do when you want a fresh opportunity with someone who slipped away? You take it with full commitment. The same goes for Frost, who is pinning for one of the former sweetbutts. But the problem is, she left the MC lifestyle on peculiar terms and with some resentment on their side. Furthermore, they are quite different, as shifters and persons, cay they find their way together or will they be forced to admit they are better on their own? I didn’t know what expect and I must admit I couldn’t imagine lynx and owl together. Frost is a sadistic owl shifter, who just came out of prison. I like how he is levelheaded, determined, mature, and kinky dominant. Ms. Blevins never disappoints with her characters. She knows how to mend shifter and human persona so well. Banshee is former sweetbutt, but she wants something different now. She is strong, capable, and independent and secretly craves him back but on a different term. I loved how their romance progressed and how they are forced to deal with real-life problems and solving everyday stuff. There is no angst or drama and I did not miss it a bit. The…
5 amazing stars, The Sinners are back with a brand new amazing story New city and new chapters of life are bringing something different…it seems everybody is changed, more mature but there are some things inside of all of them, they can’t run away from. Søren was suspended from the Jesuits and he is dealing with it in his own way. Kingsley is expecting his third child and is nervous and panicked as hell. Nora is almost as usual self – getting involved in things that mean trouble. The priest committed suicide, but how is he connected to Nora? She needs to know! When I first heard the title of this book, I thought it will be about Søren and his life after Jesuits, but nooo, this one is about some other priest. There are many correlations through the story, that you can connect to their life, if you know their past and I found that very intriguing. I loved every minute of it, and that the story is placed in New Orleans, with magic and voodoo and witches and….be still my heart, it is perfect. An average reader might read it as classic mystery, but if you read closely…
The world after epic battle is unsure and we are thrown into a new chapter of MC – Birmingham. Ms. Candace kicks ass with this new erotic romance. It is amazing and be ready for a hefty revelation. It is sweet with great and strong characters. For me, this is also a journey about exploring and accepting your past. Coming to terms with wants and needs but being strong enough to explore more. Finally, it is also about the importance of community, belonging and family. Dementor is a delicious sadist with a strong hand, but he is still very protective and even sweet. He is aware of his own limitations and is very supportive and helpful of Ember and her baggage. The romance between Ember and him is delicious and there many layers just waiting to be revealed. I loved their interaction and their kink was delightfully intense and hot. Ms. Candace is skilled in this but here was even more hotness than usual. Damn, but I had to reread some passages… As for Ember, she is a survivor and I admired her. Her emotional baggage is more than any person could handle. Nevertheless, she became better and more mature…
First, you have to read the previous book to understand all. This one starts at the exact moment the previous ended. I was blown apart with so many emotions running through me while reading this, it was hard to process them all. I want to give feedback spoiler-free so let me just say, there are raw emotions, guilt, terrible pain, unfairness and so much cruelty I wanted to shake the responsible for ruining innocent lives. But most of all, there is pure love that finds its way in the midst of all horrible things happening. There are so many secrets and I can’t help wondering what outcome would there be if people were honest, forthcoming and brave from the beginning. The assumptions and bad decisions in the name of protecting each other are also making things worse. Furthermore, I understood her reasoning but her bipolar behavior and indecision were making me crazy. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the book despite my love-hate-love relationship, it’s just that I was so consumed by the book it was like living it through the characters. In the end, they finally get their HEA, despite or because of all the obstacles.
Ms. Candace surprised us again with a brilliant story. The title is very fitting on many sides, not just the obvious one. We get to know much more about vampire politics and how things are managed in the back. We knew a lot from previous books but this one is up-close with more details, interaction, dynamics and power exchange. The plot is pretty direct with an ex-slave given to a vampire pair and due to the circumstances, another ex-slave Arabella joins them. It was amazing to see so many layers of Ajax, revealing them one by one was fascinating. I’m not sure I liked more his serving side or dominating one. His growth and development were fascinating and Ms. Blevins does a wonderful job revealing his emotions, psyche, and struggles through becoming his own person again and finding his place. His past is tragic and I was amazed by how he managed to come out being the whole person. When he connects with Arabella it is clear that the union between 4 of them is complete. The battle that is ongoing at the time is epic and for those who want to know more, it is mandatory to read Unhuman…
An erotic story full of action and darker themes.
If I could step into one book, let it be one of Tiffany Reisz. I can’t emphasize how much I love her books, her characters, writing, dialogues, humor… everything. The only downside is, there are not enough of them 🙂 They make me giggle, laugh, gasp, cry, horny and more… Winter Tales is a series of Original Sinners novellas, all happening in winter – which is quite fitting for Soren. There is one brand new novella, starring Nora, Zach and the first glimpse of Nico. This was one magnificent treat. There are rare moments for Nora to let herself be vulnerable and unsure, but those are precious and I cherish them. Zach and Nora have their last wild moments together and they are hot and emotional. The whole package is closed with Nora holding Fionn. It is amazing how easily I can connect with the characters, their persona, and experience. The other novellas are also perfect for rereading, starring Soren through different stages. His complete openness is scarce and I appreciated every moment of it. His honesty, devotion, pain, loneliness, fear, love, longing…everything is out in those selected novellas. He is a sadist and sometimes a mystery despite knowing his…
This was heartbreaking, all-consuming and addictive. I am an emotional wreck after reading this. How will I wait for the sequel? Ms. Winters, you must be a sadist to let us wait for the part two 🙂 Gil was Olin’s soulmate. Her rock, her tormentor, her everything and then he just left and pushed her away. After a few years, she accidentally runs upon him and the intense chemistry is still there. But he changed. There are new secrets, new tormentor and new heartache. How much can she take? Everything, because he is still the one and only. This is not a happy story, it is dark, passionate, unfair, intense, emotional and cruel. It is also a love story. And in every love story, people hurt and bleed and tear up their heart that the pain is almost physical. I went through the roller coaster with this story, I cried with unfairness for a young boy, got angry toward people cruelty and wielding they power, I wanted to smack them and shake them, but most of all I felt for both of them. So much happened because of other people selfishness and the life they were put in, so much…
Can I read this book again for the first time? It was EPIC. I think I cried, Laugh and experienced so many emotions like I was right there with them. Ms. Blevins leads us to the final battle between good and evil. It is overwhelming. So much is happening and everybody is included. It was great to see all the characters from previous books. It makes me want to read all of the books again. It is not all about fighting, there is a great part about love, sacrifices, joy, family, loyalty, and trust. We finally got to see more of Mordecai and Nathan. Their insight and POV was highly anticipated and I loved their input. It is amazing to follow favorite characters through their story, to watch them grow, change and mature and finally find their peace. I was pleasantly surprised with the sex scene and was so glad there was still time for that. It was wonderful and hot but also seemed more mature and connected. The spiritual aspect is very well explained and written as usual. The whole book is emotional and intense. There were great losses, but it wouldn’t be realistic if there was none. It was…
