The Dirty Ones by J.A. Huss
contemporary , dark , erotica , mystery , romance , suspense , thriller / January 31, 2019

Buy this book now. Seriously! Just wow. I was blown away with every chapter. One of the best mystery, thriller, suspense, erotic romances lately. I am not even sure how to categorize it. It is a great mix of everything entwined. The author writes a wonderful plot, mystery with so many questions along. I went through the whole specter of emotions while reading this and it was worth it. The characters are authentic and realistic, every one of them has their own story but together they are connected with the past. The things that happened should stay there but the past doesn’t want to stay buried. 10 years after attending their senior year someone wants to play a game. Are the memories real? What is the real truth? Just one – that they are the Diry Ones and this is their story! I loved the suspense and couldn’t stop reading until I had all the answers. And when I had them I wanted to read it all over again. I wanted to cry, to yell to hug them or just be with them. The suspense, the building and the romance with an erotic encounter is the perfect mix in an…

Notice by K. Webster
abuse , contemporary , dark , erotica , romance , suspense / January 20, 2019

This was one intense ride. I like how the author knows how to hit taboo themes and makes them very readable. Violet suffered a lot by her abusive ex boyfriend. From rape, pimping to forced drugs and more. She is in hiding but works for a company with eccentric chef. After 6 year not being appreciated as a employee, she decides to quit – but than her boss finally notice her. She becomes his obsession. Their chemistry is sparkling and they just click in nonconventional way. Their sex is smoking hot and his dirty talk would fire up even the dead. I hurt with them and both of their past but they both survived and didn’t became victims of their decisions. Yeah they were both a bit different but in a good way 🙂 I liked that about them. This is one good darkish erotica story.

Alien Overnight by Robin L. Rotham
aliens , contemporary , erotica , fiction , menage , romance / January 20, 2019

Who doesn’t like kinky aliens?! Ahh, everybody should 🙂 A new author for me as I was looking something kinky and sci-fi, this one popped out. It was entertaining, funny with a bit of romance and some hot sex. We are thrown right into explanation of alien anatomy and their need for women to reproduce. Commander Kellen is on Earth to gather them when he notice one exceptional woman – Dr. Monica. He quickly claims her as his mate and she is swiftly acquaintance with their anatomy first hand. She is shocked with revelation of her genetics and past but in the end everything fits to its place. It was a quick read and there were moments I really wanted to shake the main characters, so much could be avoided if they only talked and listened and not just assume. I was struggling a bit with their technology and their anatomy regardless of description. There were moments that tried to be emotional but something was lacking. Overall it was an ok romance and fun read for me.

The Day She Cried by K. Webster
abuse , dark , erotica / January 6, 2019

Damn this reminded me why I hate bullies and popular in High School who had their own groupies and acted like they are Gods and could get away with everything. The plot is realistic with tough situations and dark heroes. Life isn’t always fair and there will be people who will screw you which sucks. For Courtney there were consequences and there were moments I wanted to yell at her to grow a backbone and stop being a sheep. But with a help from her so called nemesis she turns into a wolf. I loved seeing her transformation. The ending is HEA yet a bit unrealistic. I did like how the author exposed the now day problems with cyberbullying.

The Rose (The Red #2) by Tiffany Reisz
erotica , fantasy , mythology , romance / January 1, 2019

Lia’s graduation party turns interesting, when she gets a present from their parents – a valuable vine cup. But this should be a magical mythological cup – it should have special powers. When another art collector August, who claims to know how to unleash its powers, wants to buy it from her, she has another exchange in mind. I am trying not to reveal too much so I will just go over the most Yummy thing I enjoyed in this book. Every chapter reveals more sensual and sexual adventures wrapped with mythological characters in different time. I ate up the stories with Gods and others full of passion and rough love. The walk through the Greek mythology was enlightening. The scenes were hot and the characters were funny, rough and erotic. I was thrilled to read about some of my favorite myths tangled with Lia’s world. A delightful mix of fantasy along with modern time and full of sensual play.
