This is a lovely romance with sweet but persistent wolf shifter who is protective and dominant. He is new to MC and is still learning his way around but was entranced from the beginning with Tippy who is a deer shifter but also an Olympic shooter. Nix was fascinated with her achievement and his love for shooting ( he is snipper) only wants to know her more. I like the dynamics between their human and animal nature and instincts. It was shorter than other MC books but it was sweet romantically erotical book with no suspense.

I received this book in return for an honest review We have magical world where nothing is as it seems and you can expect unexpected. The language and writing seems a bit old-fashioned but they fit into the story very well. We are thrown into the story with a bit confusion and is harder for reader to understand the magic, the world, stars and everything else. Maybe this was the purpose?! The main character is a dove and is supposed to be powerful but we don’t get the whole picture until almost the end. Even then we don’t have straightforward answers to basic information so some more clues and insight in the beginning would be recommended. The other one is a wolf, a leader and an alpha. He exudes dominance all along. Even though I couldn’t understand all his motives I somehow liked him. So with two characters so opposite we can’t expect nothing less than some primal dominance and power exchange – given freely and easily. I liked the building toward their first real interaction. Short erotic novella is a great way to pass an evening. Ok maybe it would be better to be a part of it…but “be careful what you wish for” proves right for Bethany. My rating: solid 4 stars When you mix 3 men, who are also shapeshifters and one woman you get a hot poly group made for kink. Due to this being a novella everything develops pretty quickly and the characters don’t have much time to grow on the reader but nevertheless they are well described and the reader can connect to them. Bethany enjoys casual kinky sex but isn’t ready to settle. But when all of a sudden, she meets 3 gorgeous men, her night is not as it used to be. We have a bit sadistic Dom Ranger, fun and sexy cat Jonathan and Max – newly turned wolf. So, there is the whole pack of hot, gorgeous and devoted men. She intends for one-night stand with them, but things turn up differently that she expected.
