We have a fallen angel who is playing matchmaker and is also responding to all the desires from women. He is fulfilling them and introducing them to pleasures they didn’t know they exist. Her latest project is inexperienced Sarah with puritanical and tyrannical father. This book didn’t have much of a plot, it was more like a porn. The characters are undeveloped, the story nothing special, the main focus was on the sex. If you like that kind of thing this is the book for you. The scenes were ok but I prefer more of a story with hot sex and characters with more developed personality- here there was other way around.
This was a new author for me and I was pleasantly surprised. It is a rare treat to find an author who is somehow realistic about the lifestyles and community and also known how to create likable characters, especially Domme. I was sucked into the Masquerade fantasy and I liked it a lot. Ursa is curious about the lifestyle and is invited by her friend to the kinky Masquerade where she can enjoy safe sex with a person she chooses. She doesn’t see herself suitable and is a bit self-conscious at first, her inner battle is ongoing but in the end curiosity and the need to experience kink wins. She finds herself observing interaction and scenes and is getting more and more intrigued by it. When she almost bails, her path is crossed by a wonderful black man with wings – she calls him Cupid, while others calls him Archer. He wants to serve her and it is wonderful to observe how she grows into her Domme role almost instantly. Their building arousal leads to hot kinky scenes and pony play which is another treat. I liked the fantasy, sex, characters and their slowly building romance. Overall it was kinky…
What happens when two natural enemies met? When predator decides he likes his pray for different reasons than food? This is a lovely romance with sweet but persistent wolf shifter who is protective and dominant. He is new to MC and is still learning his way around but was entranced from the beginning with Tippy who is a deer shifter but also an Olympic shooter. Nix was fascinated with her achievement and his love for shooting ( he is snipper) only wants to know her more. I like the dynamics between their human and animal nature and instincts. It was shorter than other MC books but it was sweet romantically erotical book with no suspense.
This is one good mystery and adventure. We have a secret society that goes way back into our past.it deals with schemes, intrigues, their own rules, killing and stealing. At first I was a bit lost with so many information and unknown factors so I think it would be better to read this series in order from the beginning. But the author managed to clear some things later in the book. The mystery reminded me on The Da Vinci Code with all the uncovering secrets from the past. The new Trinity is short on time to discover buried secrets that can costs their lives. The romance was not primary theme but it was ok with some kink and ménage. I liked how they interacted and get to know each other from perfect strangers to lovers. There was not much heat and passion just some hints. I didn’t like how they, especially Caden made bdsm a bad thing. Because he was forced into it and didn’t see the other, good part of bdsm relationship and power exchange. Overall it was a good mystery but I think I would enjoy it more if I had read previous books.
This is the first book I read by Haruki Murakami. I heard a lot about this author and came across some great reviews but I still did not know what expect. This is definitely not a regular story. It is twisted, philosophical, spiritual fantasy altogether. The metaphysics reality can be somehow confusing at the beginning. Every character has its own story but they are all connected in some way, but as the story developed the thing are making more sense / or as much as they can. The mystery behind every event is surrealistic. The writing is wonderful, the side stories and conversation as well. There is the contrast between characters and events but in the end everything melts together. It seems like every path has its own meaning and there is symbolism everywhere. There seems to be so much knowledge behind but it was a great experience to read Kafka on the shore. Few of my favorite quotes: Pointless thinking is worse than no thinking at all. Things outside you are projections of what’s inside you, and what’s inside you is a projection of what’s outside. So when you are step into the labyrinth outside you, at the same…
I read this one in one sitting. One and only dark prince – Vlad with his dark persona is never apologizing for who he is and what he does. His motto is: better to fear me more than others. He values loyalty and is sexy arrogant. But when he mets Leila a lot changes for both of them. Characters are great, the writing is good, the suspense is well build and the romance is heating up.
This is a journey mixing different species, supernaturals and an extraordinary human. Mrs. Blevins does a great job with this one. Kristen is a tuff and independent heroine with special powers and she seem to be in the middle of the war to come between good and evil. She is smart, brave, proud, funny and sexually submissive. I liked the philosophical and metaphysical questions that spoke to the nerd in me. The dialogues were smart and entertaining. I liked how it pictured hell and demons and that they are not a priori evil. Oh let’s not forget all the males, shifters and vampires and demons that were jummy. I did hope for more serious romance with Abbot but I guess it was not meant to be. I am looking forward to see what journey lies ahead.
Another treat from Tiffany. Even though I’m not “artish” person it was fun getting to know the pictures and the artists that came with the scene. They were definitely more alive with them. Malcolm- well he grow onto me. I liked him even though I had a love-hate relationship at the end but I saw something like that coming. He is a man who enjoys sex in every perverted way. And being his whore comes out like a great compliment. I liked how the modern days intervened with the old days. The scenes -oh the scenes were pure erotic fantasy. I loved every single one of them. The best was with the Minotaur despite the ending was a bit off. I think she exaggerated a bit. She gave him a carte blanche and how was this scene different from another? I get that she thought she was drugged but still it was a game she know he liked to play. And the slave market was also another hit for me. The suspense, the mask, objectification….just perfect. I’m glad it didn’t work out with Sebastian. He turned out quite a douche. Through the whole book I was wondering what is Malcolm,…
